Somalia Parlainment have today approved the Petroleum bill which Federal State members its legality. 150 voted to approve whole four member rejected.
The bill was one of key issues that Federal State members have dispued during the Garowe consultation meeting.
The Federal State Members said they were not consulted as this law will directly affact their regions, but the Somali President and Prime says if regional states have concerns on the bill they address through the Parlianment house which its representative a selected from the regional states.
Somalia which is believed to be rich with oil and mineral want to award oil exploration contracts by the end of 2019 and the approval of the bill will be welcome boost to the government ambition for oil exploration in the country.
