The death tall of the car explosion in Mogadishu has reached 20 people and among them former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Xuseen Celaabe.
The Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheir has confirmed the death of the minister in a tweet from his twitter handle and sent his condolences to Minister’s family and the Somali public. Also, a female military officer and her bodyguards were among those killed in the attack local journalists report. Fay Ali Rageh was a Somali army colonel.

Fay Ali Rageh, Colonel in the Somali National Army was maternity leave and gave birth just a month ago. She was in a car with her husband and bodyguards waiting to get through the checkpoint. Only one of her bodyguards have survived from the explosion.
Alshabaab Islamist group who are carrying out attacks against government claimed responsibility of the attack.
Minister of Ministry of Information condemned the attack and called it barbaric act carried out against innocent Somalis in a holy month. In a tweet, the Minister sent his condolences to families of the victims.
