Somalia Federal Republic President, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo was among 40 head of states who joined the inauguration of South African new President, Cyril Ramaphosa, in Pretoria.
The new President vowed a new era for South Africa.
“This is a defining moment for a young nation like ours,” BBC quoted the president in his speech in front of 32,000 people at the rugby stadium in Pretoria.
Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa is the fifth President democratically elected since 1994 following the end of apartheid.
The Somali President to have bilateral talks with the South African Government and also meet Somali diaspora in South Africa many of who have businesses in the country. The Somali businesses face xenophobic attacks and many of their business were looted.
